Dr. Herta Granado

Dr. Herta Granado, affectionately known to many patients as Dr. G, is a proud Maryland native and graduate of Damascus High School. Inspired by her own orthodontic journey as a teenager, she experienced firsthand the confidence and lasting impact that a healthy, beautiful smile can provide. That experience sparked her passion for helping others achieve the same life-changing results.

Dr. Granado combines deep local roots with Ivy League training. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Molecular and Cellular Biology from Johns Hopkins University before attending the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, where she graduated at the top of her class. She then completed her specialty training in orthodontics at the University of Pennsylvania before returning home to Maryland to serve the community that helped shape her. Dr. Granado is board-certified by the American Board of Orthodontics, demonstrating her commitment to the highest standards of clinical excellence.

Dr. Granado is passionate about creating a warm, welcoming environment where patients of all ages feel comfortable, valued, and excited about their orthodontic journey. She strives to make every orthodontic visit feel like coming home, building lasting relationships with patients, families, and referring providers while providing personalized care that helps each individual achieve a healthy, confident smile they can enjoy for a lifetime.

Outside the office, Dr. Granado enjoys exploring new restaurants, taking long walks, attending group fitness classes, watching baseball games (Go Phils!) and spending time with friends, family, and her rambunctious (but lovable) dachshund, Charlie.
